Getting your Des Moines photography done? What to expect getting your family photos. What happens during a session? These are some great questions that I get a lot. Even when I am a client myself I tend to ask these questions. I always like to know and prepare.
As a professional in Des Moines photography, my goal for your session is to capture memories, moments and emotions. Beauty in the chaos of kids, family. I want you to have moments that you treasure forever, hang on your wall and look through for years to come. From our first consultation we will not only get to know each other, but I will go over location options with you as well as chat about what to wear, and what to expect during our session. Next I will have you fill out a questionnaire about your family that helps me get to know everyone. As well as you will have access to my client closet of boutique items and my online stylist tools.
Then on the day of the session, we will get together for our shoot. Depending on your family this may include mud stomping, beach play, or running through prairie and playing games. Maybe you have older kids? I always try to include them in the planning process too. Like what do they enjoy doing as a family.
Afterwards about 2 – 3 weeks after our shoot we will have your gallery viewing and ordering session.
