I thoroughly enjoy being a Des Moines Family Photographer. The golden sunlight at Neal Smith Wildlife refuge is such an awesome location for gorgeous family photos. The Scotts were as beautiful as can be in their styled outfits. Heather had spoken to me during our pre shoot planning, that she wanted to incorporate a milk bath to celebrate their nursing journey. It was actually a perfect day for a tub session. The milk was a little cool but it was a hot day. As a Des Moines Family Photographer, I really wanted to make sure the milk in the bath photographed well. To make the milk I had used a few gallons of water, 2 gallons of milk, and some dry milk powder. The dry milk powder really helps to give it that milky look. I sprinkled some flowers in the bath from Trader Joes and it was perfect!
