As a Des Moines photographer, I love it when clients include their animal companions. Including animal companions can be a wonderful way to may your session meaningful, and special. I always advise my clients to bring treats. Having a client arrive early can also help their animal. Sometimes it does take a few minutes before we can start working for their animal to acclimate. However, being patient is key, and it is great when I have an animal who is so well trained.
With Iowa, you never know the weather you will receive. Even though it was calling for rain we lucked out with some lovely evening weather.
