As a Des Moines Wedding Photographer I got to meet Mollie and Colby and I always enjoy asking about how couples meet. Mollie & Colby dated in jr. High. Then they meet again at the Ridgemont bar about 5 years ago. The bar the Ridgemont became one of their special places where they enjoy spending time together. The venue Sherwood Events Center is right next to the bar. Two wonderful places that held a special meaning. There is a great vintage vibe from the venue. I also loved the amazing charcuterie board table. Their first dance song they choose was“come and get your love” from Guardians of the galaxy; the day was full of personal touches. The snack area was put together by the bride’s friends from Eggs and Jam WDM and her family friend Rochelle Berry. They did an amazing job!
